Why did you choose FMA to support? I chose to support FMA because I believe that empowering our youth with real life financial knowledge and skills is one of the best ways to improve our communities. Unfortunately, this type of education is not taught in schools. As an immigrant myself, I know what a struggle it is to lack the personal finance knowledge necessary to be successful in our country. With FMA I believe that we can help thousands if not hundreds of thousands of students to be better prepared for their futures.
How do you support FMA? I support FMA by helping to lead efforts to get the Real Life Financial Math course into high schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This includes networking with school district officials, finding ways to spread the word about Real Life Financial Math among teachers, and community outreach events. I also support FMA by assisting in various projects ranging from course editing to publishing content to helping present FMA and its goals at events.
