Trinh NguyenSummer Intern – 2017
1. Why did I choose FMA to support?
When I graduated from high school, I had no idea how to finance my college tuition. I ended up going to a private university blind sighted and had a very rough start. If I had help, whether it is a course or someone that can advise me what to expect (financially) after high school, it would help me tremendously. Therefore, when I found out about FMA, I was very interested in the program because I truly believe that the advanced math course that FMA offers can help so many people to be better prepared and planned their future financial, particularly, the high school students that are transiting to a new chapter of their lives.
2. How do you support FMA?
I am an intern so I will be assisting and supporting the team in all aspects to implement FMA course in many secondary schools in Texas as possible.
3. What are my favorite books and hobbies?
My favorite books are “The Orphan Train” – Christina Baker Kline, “Nineteen Minutes” – Jodi Picoult, “The Memory Keeper’s Daughter” – Kim Edwards, and “Outliers” – Malcolm Gladwell.
My hobbies are baking, reading, and exploring different coffee shop with friends.
